How to enjoy your spaces while you stay home

I don't know about you guys but during this time stuck at home me and my wife have been organizing and cleaning up the house. For me is actually easier to stay at home when everything looks nice and neat. So I thought why not to share some tips that have worked for us?

The Method

To be honest is so hard for me to get my stuff organized, but with all this free time at home we just started with small projects. . My wife was reading the Marie Kondo method thing, and it really works. We got rid of everything we did't really love and the folding method is working so far. It feels so good when I walk in my closet and everything is in its place.

A Feel-Good space.

It really makes a difference when you have a connection with the things surrounding you. When they are not only stuff you bought at the store but they can bring memories or tell stories. For example we displayed my guitars and a vintage Minolta Camera we almost donate, is now decorating a book shelf. Finally after many years I hung a handmade hammock I had in storage.

I think life now on will be different. We will remember this as before and after Covid, to realize life is not just work to make money. Life is about to spend time with our loved ones doing simple things. We have learned so much.
